In my 4th, and final, year of my fine art degree at Stellenbosch University, I produced an article (Trauma and the Female Body in a Patriarchal South Africa) which coincided with my practical work, showcasing various techniques and skills throughout the creative process. Through research and the exploration of collage, drawing, screen-printing, photography (stills and time-lapse) and video, I created my year's body of work to encapsulate subjective emotions and personal experiences coinciding with a strong, conceptual written component with objective data and statistics.

As a fine artist, my passion and strengths lie in drawing, painting, print-making, and creative content. Petals in Progress, my personal brand, allows me to explore and present my creations as I grow and stumble - forever blooming and blossoming.
